Hibs have tonight been linked with a move for Blackburn Rovers winger Keith Treacy.

The Irish U21 international has spent the first half of the season with Championship side Sheffield United, but is now back at Ewood Park after a fall-out with the Blades management team.

Treacy, 21, impressed while at United, making 17 appearances, and, according to Sky Sports, is now being chased by a number of clubs.

Blackburn are willing to listen to offers for the player, and Hibs and Barnsley are the two clubs thought to be at the front of the queue.

Sheffield United could attempt to land the player back on loan again, and Middlesbrough are also thought to be monitoring the situation.

Treacy has 4 caps for Ireland U21’s and has also spent time on loan at Stockport County.
