Hibs have today been linked with a loan move for Bolton Wanderers winger Gregg Wylde.

The Scotland U21 winger is back at Bolton after a loan spell with Bury, but Bolton are said to be keen for him to gain more match experience by going out on loan for the rest of the season.

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is on the look-out for a wide player following the departure of Ivan Sproule to Ross County, and Wylde would fit the bill.

According to news reports, talks are at an "advanced stage" and the player could join within days.

Wylde, 21, was one of the first player's to leave the now defunct Rangers FC when they went into administration in early 2012.

In an attempt to help save the now liquidated club Wylde agreed to a termination of his new 5-year-deal and waived his right to a redundancy payment from the former Glasgow club.

He was quickly snapped up by Bolton Wanderers in March 2012, who had earlier bid £400,000 for him, after his Rangers release, but the player had to wait until  this season to gain clearance to play for the relegated Premiership club.

Wylde has played for Scotland at U17, U19 & U21 level. He has also played 40 games for Rangers. He has yet to make an appearance for Bolton.
