According to the Courier, Hibs are interested in signing Livingston midfielder Shaun Byrne.
The 25-year-old former Dunfermline player has been interesting a number of clubs, with Dundee interested along with a number of English League One sides.
Byrne still has a year-and-a-half left on his deal at the Tony Macaroni Stadium, and it would take a fee to land in-form midfield dynamo.
It now seems Hibs boss Neil Lennon is keen on bringing the player to Easter Road.
