Hibs have today been linked with a move for North Macedonian internationalist Jani Atanasov.
The 25-year-old midfielder is apparently one of a number of midfielders on Hibs list of targets.
Atanasov currently plays for Polish side Cracovia, and is out-of-contract next summer.
He has been capped 22 times and scored 3 goals for his country.
New head of recruitment Garvan Stewart has been busy behind the scenes since taking his new job, as Hibs boss David Gray looks to add some quality to his in-form squad.
Atanasov started his career with Akademija Pandev in his homeland, before attracting interest after an incredible debut season.
He signed for Turkish side Bursaspor, but struggled to hold down a regular first team spot. He agreed to terminate his contract and joined Hadjuk Split on a three-year-deal on a free transfer.
His form in Croatia was impressive and apparently attracted the interest of Celtic, but no move ever materialised.
After an impressive 3 year spell in Croatia, Atanasov move to his current club, Polish side Cracovia for an undisclosed fee in January 2023.

HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
A new name to us, we've never heard of the guy.
On paper he has an impressive CV, and Hibs are interested, but for now it looks like he is only one of a number of names on a list, given to Sir David Gray by new recruitment head honcho Garvan Stewart.
