Hibs have been linked with a summer move for Morton left back Mark Russell.
The 19-year-old Paisley born defender is apparently being targeted by Hibs boss Alan Stubbs to provide competition and cover for Lewis Stevenson next season.
Russell is under contract at he Greenock club until June 2016, so Hibs would have to pay a fee to land the highly rated youngster.
He has played nearly 50 games for Morton and was last season voted in the League One team of the year.
