According to reports in today's tabloids, Hibs manager Pat Fenlon has targeted free agent Francisco Sandaza.

The former St Johnstone & Dundee Utd hitman is currently a free agent after leaving the Saints at the end of last season.

27-year-old Sandaza had a superb season for St Jonhstone last season, hitting 20+ goals, and attracted the attentions of the now defunct Rangers FC, who tried to land him on a pre-contract ageement.

Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is on the look-out for a striker after losing Garry O'Connor, Leigh Griffiths and Roy O'Donovan at the end of last season, leaving only Eoin Doyle as a recognised striker in the squad.

The Hibees are expected to face competition for the former Valencia and Brighton striker's signature from Hearts, St Johnstone and Sevco 5088.
