According to Journo Alan Nixon, Hibs have an eye on York City striker Josh Stones.
The Hibees, along with Barnsley and his former club Wigan Athletic are being credited with an interest in the 22-year-old, who has scored 16 times in 45 appearances for the National League side.
The 22-year-old has also had previous spell with Ross County and Oldham.
However, York City Owner Matt Uggla has moved to quash the rumour on X by posting:
"Categorically not happening! I’m sure there’s interest. I’m interested in Dua Lipa doesn’t mean I’m getting her."
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
Hibs have been linked with this lad before.
If the rumour is true, then David Gray must think he can develop the player at a higher level. One to keep an eye on.
