According to reports this morning, West Ham are ready to beef up their interest in Hibs midfield dynamo John McGinn.
The 23-year-old was linked with a £5m move to London club in the January transfer window but no bid was lodged.
Hammers boss David Moyes supposedly sent assistant Billy McKinley on a spying mission to Easter Road yesterday, and he would have been impressed with what he witnessed - McGinn running the show - as the Hibees ran out comprehensive 2-0 winners over Aberdeen.
The Hibees turned down offers for the Scotland international last summer from both Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town, and it now seems West Ham could make a move come the summer.
Hibs boss Neil Lennon rates McGinn in the £5m bracket, but the former St Mirren player will only have a year left on his Easter Road deal, which could see the fee drop.
