It seems out-of-contract Hibs midfielder Dylan McGeouch is on the verge of a move to Sunderland.
According to the Scottish Sun, the 25-year-old held talks at the English League One sides training ground today..
Sunderland owner Stewart Donald has also revealed in an interview that the Black Cat's are close to signing six players and one of them is "a midfielder from Scotland".
The Hibees were hopeful of the Scotland international signing a new contract after the club offered him a new £3,000 a week deal, but the money on offer in England has blown the Hibees offer out the window.
McGeouch was said to have agreed to a pre-contract move to Blackburn Rovers earlier in the window, but the move never materialised.
Brentford, QPR, Fulham, Rangers, and Aberdeen have all, also, been linked with the former Celtic youth.
