Bristol Rovers are said to be eyeing a move for Hibs midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes.
The Gas boss Joey Barton is keen to take the Irish player south, and has jumped to head of the queue after Hibs accepted a bid from Forest Green Rovers for the former Villa kid, only for the player to reject the move.
Rovers will have rivals for the players signature from abroad, but so far no new bids for the player have been tabled.
Doyle-Hayes joined the Hibees from St Mirren and he has played 54 times for the club.
Could he be the next victim of the cull of players currently going on at Easter Road?
We will have to wait and see.
