Hibs midfielder Nohan Kenneh joins Ross County on loan

Hibs have today revealed that midfielder Nohan Kenneh has joined Ross County.

The 20-year-old has joined the Staggies on loan until the end of the current 2022/23 season.

Kenneh joined the Hibees from Leeds United during the summer transfer window, signing a 3-year-deal at Easter Road.

However, despite showing glimpses of his talent, Kenneh has struggled to hold down a permanent place in the Hibees first team, making 15 appearances this season.

Hibs boss Lee Johnson is in the process of letting players leave as he looks to make his bloated squad smaller, with a number of players having already left the club.

Speaking to the official club website, Johnson said:

“In Nohan’s break-through season, he’s already made a considerable number of appearances.

“We believe this is the best move for him in the short and medium term to get starts and to continue his positive development.

“I will personally keep a very close eye on his performance at Ross County and will continue to communicate with him regarding his personal development plan.

“We look forward to seeing how this loan spell has benefitted him when he comes back in the summer.”

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

This will be a good move for both Noah and Hibs if he gets game time.

He has had some good games in the green and white, and hopefully half a season with Ross County will see him come back a better player in the summer.

Good luck to Nohan.
