Hibs midfielder Stephen McGinn has signed for newly relegated side Kilmarnock.
The 32-year-old first arrived at Easter Road to help boss Jack Ross with scouting, but landed a deal in September 2020 that ran until the end of the 2020/21 season.
McGinn managed 9 games and 1 goal at Easter Road, becoming the third McGinn brother to play and score for Hibs, after siblings John and Paul.
The former St Mirren player found himself a bit-part player for the Hibees and ended up going on loan to Morton in March until the end of the season.
He managed 9 games for the Greenock side.
McGinn has signed a one-year-deal with Killie as they look to bounce back at the first time of asking.
EDITORS VIEW:
This one was expected.
Stephen showed some decent flashes with Hibs, and scored a good goal away at Motherwell early last season.
However, Hibs are expected to make quite a few moves in the summer transfer window, and McGinn's departure free's up a wage.
KIlmarnock have signed a good, solid pro as they look to come straight back up from the Championship after relegation.
