Hibs boss John Hughes has moved to quash rumours that he is interested in Kilmarnock forward Kevin Kyle. According to reports in this morning’s tabloids, Hibs were ready to battle Aberdeen for his signature, and offer a bigger wage to sign on at Easter Road. Hughes has now moved to deny any interest in the Scotland forward, he said: “That is news to me, it’s pure speculation.” There is expected to be quite a bit of movement in and out at Easter Road this summer, but it seems Kevin Kyle won’t be arriving.
