Hibs on the trail of freed Aberdeen striker Steve Lovell

Hibs have today been linked with a move for recently freed Aberdeen striker Steve Lovell.

The 27-year-old former Dundee, Portsmouth and QPR striker is also attracting the interest of Kilmarnock and Falkirk as well as his former club Bournemouth.

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has made it clear he is out to bolster every area of the squad and Lovell seems to fit the bill.

This news comes quick on the heels of the news that Mixu is trying to sign Brazilian midfielder Douglas Rinaldi, recently freed by Watford.
