Hibs pair Kevin Nisbet and Rocky Bushiri have been called up for international duty.
Striker Nisbet, 26, has been called up to Scotland manager Steve Clarke's latest squad, for the up-coming clashes with Norway and Georgia in Euro 2024 qualifying.
Nisbet has been on-fire at the end of the season, scoring 11 goals in 19 games after coming back from nearly a year out with injury.
Central defender Bushiri has been included in the DR Congo squad for the first time.
The 23-year-old has been capped at U19 and U21 level by Belgium but has now switched allegiances and has been included to face Gabon in the CAN qualifiers.
Bushiri has been brilliant for the Hibees this season, and has also just returned from a long-term injury, and will be a big plus for Lee Johnson's men when we return for the new season.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
Both well deserved call-up's for players returning from long-term injury.
Nisbet has been a revelation since his return and will ne a good option for Scotland boss Steve Clarke in the important double header coming up.
Big Rocky has just come back from injury after a 3 month lay-off, but before that he was superb.
Having been out for so long, he won't have been waning the season to end, hopfeully he gets his chance aginst Gabon in the African Nations qualifiers.
Good luck to both.
