Hibs player tests positive for coronavirus

Hibs have today confirmed in a statement that an un-named player has tested positive for Covid-19.

The player is now self isolating, after coming into contact with the virus, whilst at home over the weekend.

He will miss this weekend's game against Hamilton Accies.

Hibs have also confiemd that the player has been nowhere near Easter Road or the club's East Mains training facility since his diagnosis and will now isolate for 10 days.

The good news is, so far, he has shown no symptoms of the virus.

Hopefully whoever it is makes a quick recovery and doesn't get too unwell.

Speaking from experience, it the symptoms can come on very quickly and hit you like train.
