Hibs boss Neil Lennon has revealed that the Hibees have rejected a bid for striker Simon Murray from Turkish side Elazigspor.
The former Dundee Utd forward, 25, has hit 14 goals this season, with most of them coming in a flurry at the start of the season.
Murray has had a form dip and he has found himself on the bench lately, but that hasn't stopped the TTF 1. Lig side submitting an offer.
The value of the offer is unknown, but some news outlets are reporting it as "six-figure".
Hibs boss Neil Lennon said:
“We had an offer from Turkey for Simon Murray but we have not accepted that.
“As it stands we’ll be keeping Simon unless another bid comes in that makes us think.
“It’s a testament to how well he’s done and I’ve told him he should take it as a real compliment. It should give him a real shot in the arm.
“He’s ahead of expectations after the first half of the season so it’s excellent for him. We don’t want him to go."
