Hibs have rejected an enquiry for defender Liam Fontaine.
The Scottish Cup winning legend has just returned to training following a long-term injury, and has attracted interest from an "unknown British club".
32-year-old Fontaine has only made two appearances this season, both in the Betfred Cup and has yet to feature in any League games.
Fontaine has been out with an ankle injury since September, that he picked up playing for Hibs development side, although he is back in training and made the bench in the last few games, and he also played in the recent friendly with Dutch side Excelsior.
Hibs have already knocked back an offer from Turkish side Elazigspor for Simon Murray, and are expecting offers for Scotland midfielder John McGinn, in what could be a busy January transfer window.
