Hibs release Dominique Malonga!!!

A bit of shock news coming out of Easter Road tonight - fans favourite Dominique Malonga has been released.

The Congo international striker apparently said his goodbye's at East Mains today, after agreeing a deal to end his contract six months early

Malonga has been in & out the side this season, but has remained popular with the Hibs support, the type of player capable of pulling something from nothing, and scoring some spectacular goals.

However, the arrivals of Chris Dagnall & Anthony Stokes has seen Malonga fall down the pecking order at Easter Road, and further limits his chance of game time.

The 27-year-old is apparently interesting a number of Italian clubs, with Pro Vercelli already confirming their interest.

A number of English sides are said to also be keen on the former Torino forward.

Malonga scored 22 goals in 41 games for the Hibees.

He follows Henri Anier, Islam Feruz, Jordon Forster, Sam Stanton & Adam Eckersley in leaving the club during the January transfer window.

Hibernian-Mad would like to thank "King Dom" for all his hard work in a Hibs shirt.

Do Do Dooo Dominique Malonga!!!!!
