According to the Scottish Sun, St Johnstone winger Danny Swanson is set to sign for Hibs.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has apparently agreed a deal to join the Hibees on a pre-contract deal.

Swanson signed for the Perth side from Hearts two years ago, after an ill fated short spell at Tynecastle.

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has persuaded the former Dundee Utd, Peterbrough United & Coventry player to sign for his boyhood heroes and turn down at offer to stay at McDiarmid Park.

Swanson has recently made the news for having an on-pitch scrap with Saints team mate Richard Foster, with both receiving a red card. They also both ended up being fined 4 weeks wages.

The Hibees have been lacking in goals and cutting edge from midfield lately, and it seems Lennon has moved to solve the issue by signing Swanson, who has played over 330 games in his career.
