Hibs set to sign Man City winger Thomas Agyepong

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has tonight revealed the Hibees are set to sign Manchester City winger Thomas Agyepong.

The 21-year-old left winger will join the club on loan until the end of the season.

Hibs are still waiting on the completion of the paperwork, but are hopeful that the Ghana international will be in the squad for Sunday's SPFL kick-off against Motherwell at Easter Road.

Speaking before Tomorrow's Europa League 2nd leg clash with Ateras Tripolis in Greece, Lennon said:

"Thomas will be with us on a year’s loan. He’s very similar to Brandon Barker, good with both feet, quick and with a good end product.

He’s also 21 years old, so he fits the profile and we are just waiting on the paperwork as he’s had his medical.”

Agyepong will become Hibs fourth summer signing, following the captures of Florian Kamberi, Stevie Mallan, and Adam Bogdan.

He has had previous loan spells in Holland with FC Twente and NAC Breda.
