Hibs boss John Collins is expected to make his SEVENTH summer signing today, when he completes a deal for Millwall winger Filipe Morais.

As WE revealed on WEDNESDAY (see link!)

The Portuguese U-21 international winger has been deemed surplus to requirements at the Den and has been released from his contract by Lions manager Willie Donachie.

The player, who started his career at
Chelsea, plays on the opposite wing from Alan O'Brien and gives Hibs another attacking option.

Morais, 21, is expected to sign a two-year deal at Easter Road.

The winger played against Hibs in last season's CIS Cup Semi Final, while on loan at St Johnstone, setting up the Saints goal in the Hibees 3-1 win.

Speaking to the Edinburgh Evening News, he said:

"I'm really excited at the prospect of playing for a club like Hibs. It's a great chance for me to prove myself."

Filipe is expected to make his debut against Middlesbrough in today's pre-season friendly.
