Hibs set to sign Polish keeper Maciej Dąbrowski

Last updated : 13 June 2017 By Steve Forbes

Hibs are today on the verge of completing a deal for young Polish goalkeeper Maciej Dąbrowski.

Dąbrowski, 19, was on loan at Easter Road last season, after an initial trial period, so Hibs could assess him at close quarters.

He played in a number of development games, and clearly impressed Hibs boss Neil Lennon enough to secure a return to Edinburgh.

According to the official Lech Poznan website, Hibs have exercised their right of first option to buy Dąbrowski.

He will is not expected to be part of Hibs first team squad, barring an injury crisis of course, and will most likely play for the clubs youth development side.
