It has been revealed tonight that Hibs are set to confirm the permanent transfer of Manchester City full back Ryan McGivern.
The 23-year-old has been on loan at Easter Road since last summer and has impressed in the green and white.
McGivern is said to have agreed a two-year-deal to join up with the Hibees this summer.
The Northern Ireland international is also thought to have had various suitors from England, but decided to stay on in Edinburgh after a decent season in the SPL.
Hibs finished 7th in the SPL, top of the bottom six, which was seen as dissapointing after a superb start to the season, they also managed to qualify for European football next season, and suffered an agonising defeat in the Scottish Cup Final for the second season in a row, against Celtic on Sunday.
