According to the Scottish Sun tonight, Hibs are closing in on deals for Anthony Stokes & Efe Ambrose.
Stokes, 28, is set to be released by Blackburn Rovers after a horrendous season in England, that has ended with the Ewood Park club relegated to League One.
Blackburn will need to cut costs, and Stokes is expected to be one of the casualties.
Hibs boss Neil Lennon was pictured with Stokes today at a bar in Dublin, and it seems the Scottish Cup winning legend is returning for a 3rd spell at Easter Road.
In other superb news, the Sun is also reporting that Lennon is also set to secure the signing of Efe Ambrose on a permanent deal.
Ambrose, 28, looks set to pledge his future to Easter Road following a successful loan period this season, when he picked up a Scottish Championship winners medal.
Celtic will release the Nigerian international in the coming weeks, when his contract expires.
Hibs are expected to seal both deals in the coming days.
