Hibs boss Neil Lennon has completed his second signing of the day, with the capture of Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman.

The American has joined the Hibees on an initial 6-month loan deal - subject to international clearance.

Hyndman could make a quick-fire debut in tomorrow night's Uefa Europa League 3rd Qualifying Round clash with Molde at Easter Road, should the club get clearance in time.

Speaking to the official club website, the former Rangers player said:

“I am delighted to have joined Hibs.

“I enjoyed my previous time in Scotland - my game is well suited to the style of play here.

“I’m looking forward to meeting up with the squad and hopefully working my way into the team.”

Hibs boss Neil Lennon said:

“We are pleased to bring in a player of Emerson’s quality.

“Technically he’s at a good level, he’s got experience of the Scottish game and gives us another option in the centre of midfield.”

Hyndman becomes Hibs sixth summer signing, following the arrivals of Stevie Mallan, Florian Kamberi, Adam Bogdan, Thomas Agyepong and Jamie Maclaren.

Welcome to the Hibees Emerson!
