Hibs have this afternoon confirmed that they had signed
The 6ft 5in Belgian goalkeeper has agreed terms and has signed a three-year-deal with the Hibees and will arrive at the club on July 1st.
Makalamby, 21, is Hibs manager John Collins FIFTH signing of the summer, joining Mark Kerr, Alan O'Brien, Torben Joneleit and Clayton Donaldson at Easter Road.

Hibs had the player up on trial in January and he impressed boss John Collins enough to persuade him to swoop for the youngster.
The Hibees boss was delighted with his latest capture and told the OFFICIAL club website - www.hibernianfc.co.uk :
"We were all very impressed by Yves when he came to Easter Road in January and had hoped he might join us at that point, however
"It says much for his qualities that he was on the verge of playing in the Champions League, and I have little doubt that had he been called upon to do so he would have done himself justice.
