Hibs have this morning confirmed the signing of Dundee keeper Scott Bain on loan.
The 26-year-old joins the Hibees until the end of the season when he is expected to sign on a permanent deal.
Bain is out-of-favour at Dens Park after a fall out with Dundee manager Neil McCann, that has seen him lose his first-team place, having not featured since October.
He will provide competition for Hibs No.1 Ofir Marciano, following the injury to Ross Laidlaw, that will keep the former Raith keeper out for a while.
Hibs are said to have beaten off competition from Hearts and Northampton Town to secure his signature.
Speaking to the official club website, the Scotland squad keeper said:
“I am delighted to be joining up with Neil Lennon’s squad.
“From the outside looking in the side have had a fantastic first half of the season, and I hope to help them build on that in 2018.
“It’s a strong group of players and I am excited about meeting everyone in Portugal for the training camp.
“Hopefully I can hit the ground running and force my way into the manager’s thoughts.”
