Hibs sign Dylan McGeouch

Hibs have today, finally, pulled of the signing of Celtic midfelder Dylan McGeouch.

The 22-year-old has signed a 3-year-deal with the Hibees and goes straight in to the squad for Sunday's trip to Ibrox.

McGeouch was said to be part of the deal that took Scott Allan to Celtic Park last week, but that looks untrue, as Hibs have confirmed that they have paid a nominal fee for the player, as he still had 1 year left on his deal at Celtic.

The player was a revelation while on loan at Easter Road last season, and will add even more quality to a very exciting Hibs midfield that consists of the likes of John McGinn, Fraser Fyvie, Liam Henderson, Marvin Bartley and Danny Carmichael.

McGeouch becomes the Hibees 9th summer signing, following the captures of Mark Oxley (Hull City), Liam Henderson (Celtic - Loan), Marvin Bartley (Leyton Orient), Martin Boyle (Dundee), John McGinn (St Mirren), James Keatings (Hearts), Danny Carmichael (QOS) & Antonio Reguero (Ross County).

Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is said to still be in the market for a striker and a defender to complete his squad.

Hibs-Mad would like to welcome Dylan back to Easter Road - An outstanding signing.
