Hibs have tonight secured the signing of FC Utrecht defender Francis Dickoh.
The 27-year-old centre half has signed a one-year-deal at Easter Road, and joins the Hibees for a nominal fee.
The 6ft 2in Ghana international has spent the last four years with the Dutch Eredivisie side, playing over 100 games, and scoring 5 goals.
He also played over 100 games for Danish side Nordsjaelland, as well as playing for two other Danish sides B93 and Farum BK.
Speaking to the official club website, Dickoh said:
“I am really pleased to have signed for Hibernian, a big club, with a great stadium and excellent training facility.
“As soon as I was taken round the training centre, I knew I wanted to join Hibernian, and I think Edinburgh is a beautiful city, a perfect place to live.
“I would like to make an impact straight away, and help the club challenge for honours.
“I am an ambitious player, and I hope to fulfil my career goals here at Hibs. The stadium is a great setting for a successful team, and I’m very excited about what we could achieve at the club.”
