Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has today confirmed that the club has landed Hungarian internationalist Dénes Rósa.

The 31-year-old midfielder has signed a contract until the end of the season and goes straight in to the squad for tomorrow's visit to Parkhead to face Celtic.

Rósa has been on trial at Easter Road for the last couple of weeks following his release from English Championship side Wolves.

Paatelainen was delighted with his capture and said:

"I am pleased that Denes has agreed to join us for the remainder of the season. He has impressed us over the last week and I'm convinced he will be a valuable addition to the squad as we challenge for a place in Europe in the second half of the season."

Rósa was also delighted at signing for the Hibees, speaking to Hibs Interactive, he said:

"Everything is fine, I've enjoyed this last week training with the team and now I'm delighted that I have a contract to the end of the season."

The 10 times capped midfielder becomes Paatelainen's third signing of the January transfer window, following the captures of winger Jonatan Johansson and goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski.
