Hibs sign Martin Boyle from Saudi club Al Faisaly

Hibs have today made a massive sttement of intent, by re-signing winger Martin Boyle from Saudi club Al Faisaly.

The 29-year-old joined the Saudi club 7 months ago in a £3m deal, but after they were relegated, they have decided to let him leave the club.

Al Faisaly had been paying the £3m fee in installments, and it's understood had already paid the club £1.5m.

Reports seem to suggest Hibs may have written off some, or even all, of the remaining money owed to bring Boyle back to Easter Road.

The Hibees have not even revealed how long his contract is, only saying on a short statement on the club site, that they would release the information in due course.

However, the Edinburgh Evening News is reporting that Boyle has signed a 3-year-deal, with the option of a fourth.

Boyle will be paraded before tommorow's Edinburgh derby at Easter Road, but won't be ready for the game, but should be available for next weeks trip to Livingston.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

An unbelievable singing from the Hibees.

It's a real statement of intent from the club and is an instant game changer.

Hibs have signed a lot of promising players over the summer, and have added a few older heads like David Marshall and Aiden McGeady to help them along.

Adding a player that is the finished article in Boyler will be a massive boost to the whole club.

Massive kudos need to go to Ian Gordon, Ben Kensell and Ron Gordon for bringing him back to the club.

They have, in our opinion, been harshly lambasted in the past, in massive over reactions from sections of the support. This should prove a few folk wrong.

Welcome home Boyler!!
