Hibs forward Abdessalam Benjelloun has today joined Belgian club K.V.C Roeselare on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Moroccan forward has been given permission to find himself a new club after he slated Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen's tactics.

Benjelloun has already spent the first part of the season on loan in Belgium, but with another club - RSC Charleroi.

He suffered a number of injuries at Charleroi, which ended any chance for him to shine and earn a permanent deal.

Hibs will be looking for a fee for Benjelloun in the summer when his loan with Roeselare ends, the Hibees are looking for £500,000 as he still has 18 months left on his deal at Easter Road, but it remains to be seen if Roeselare would pay that amount.

Benji has played 68 games for the Hibees, scoring a total of 16 goals. He has also played 7 games for Morocco scoring 4 goals.
