Hibs striker Colin Nish has tonight become the latest player to be told he has no future at Easter Road.

Colin Calderwood has told the 30-year-old striker that his contract will not be renewed when it runs out in the summer, as he re-builds the Easter Road squad.

Nish, who has only scored one solitary goal this season, is not short of suitors for next season.

St Johnstone, Dunfermline, Aberdeen are all interested north of the border, while in in England, League One sides Hartlepool, Tranmere and Bristol Rovers are all said to be interested.

Also said to be keen are English League Two sides Port Vale and Crewe Alexandra.

Crewe currently already have a former Hibs striker up front, Clayton Donaldson, who is their top goalscorer this season with 23 goals, and could link up with Nish next season.

Nish is also still receiving interest from China, but has already turned down TWO moves to the Middle East and isn‘t keen on the move.

Nish joined the Hibees from Kilmarnock in January 2008, in a £150,000 deal. He has scored 25 goals in over 100 games for the club.

The former Kille and Dunfermline striker is the latest player to be told they have no future at Easter Road.

Chris Hogg, Merouane Zemmama, Lee Currie and Sol Bamba all left the club in January.

With Dutch flop Edwin De Graaf heading out on loan back to Holland with Excelsior.

Kevin McBride, John Rankin, Thomas Flynn, Ewan Moyes and now Nish, have all been told they will not have their contracts renewed in the summer.
