Hibs striker Danny Handling signs for Dumbarton

Last updated : 28 July 2017 By Steve Forbes

Hibs attacker Danny Handling has today signed for Championship side Dumbarton.

The 23-year-old agreed a termination of his Easter Road contract and has signed a 1-year-deal at the Rock and will join goalkeeper Scott Gallagher, who also left Hibs this summer for Dumbarton.

Handling played 65 times for the Hibees and scored 5 goals, but his time in the green and white has been plagued by injury.

He becomes the latest player to leave the club, with boss Neil Lennon reshaping his squad ahead of the SPFL season.

Handling has been out on loan a couple times from Hibs, playing for Raith Rovers and Berwick Rangers in the past.

Hibs-Mad would like to wish Danny well at his new club.
