Hibs have revealed today that star striker Jason Cummings has signed a new long term deal with the club.

Cummings, who still had a year left to run on his old deal, signed a new 4-year-contract which keeps him tied to the club until 2020.

The 20-year-old has been attracting interest from the likes of Leeds United, Cardiff City, Rotherham United and Middlesbrough, as well as Turkish cracks Trabzonspor.

Speaking to the official club website, the Scotland U21 forward said:

“I am delighted to have signed the new deal with Hibernian.

“There was never any doubt in my mind over where I wanted to be this season, and I’m relieved to get it over the line.

“I feel my game has developed a lot over the last few seasons, and I’m looking forward to continuing to progress under the new manager.

“Everyone is buzzing after the Scottish Cup win, from the players to the supporters, and I’m sure we can achieve more over the coming years.”

Brilliant news.
