Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet called into Scotland Euros Squad

Last updated : 20 May 2021 By Steve Forbes

Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet has been included in the Scotland squad for the up-coming European Championships.

The Scots have been drawn in the same group as The Czech Republic, Croatia and England.

Steve Clarke's side will face both the Czech's and Croatia at Hampden, and play the Auld Enemy at Wembley.

Nisbet, 23, has been in outstanding form for the Hibees, scoring 18 goals, that has attracted the interest of Birmingham City (who offered £2.8m in January) Burnley and Celtic.

The Hibees signed Nisbet in a £250,000 deal from Dunfermline Athletic last summer.

A well deserved call-up for the in-form hitman.

It's also good news for Hibs, who wanted £3m for Nisbet in January.

The fact he is now a full internatonalist and will most likely play at the Euros will drive his value up further.

Hibs will most likely lose him in the summer, and will probably looking for north of £5m now.
