Hibs striker Mickael Antoine-Curier could be heading out on loan to first division club Dundee until the end of the season it has been revealed.

The 24-year-old French forward has struggled to find the net since arriving on transfer deadline day in the summer from Norwegian club Haugesund BK.

He has only scored three goals and has struggled to hold down a regular place in the starting eleven.

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen is thought to be on the trail of Kilmarnock striker Colin Nish and according to a Sunday tabloid Celtic's ex Hibs forward Derek Riordan.

With Steven Fletcher, Benji and Clayton Donaldson all fighting for a starting place and the possible arrival of another striker, as well as the emergence of Damon Gray and Ross Campbell from the youth setup, Curier could find his chances at Easter Road limited.

Dundee manager Alex Rae is thought to be keen to take the big forward to Dens Park on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent transfer.

Curier is out of contract at Easter Road at the end of the season after only signing a one-year-deal at the club in the summer.
