Hibs Supporters Association have revealed they are planning to make moves to remove Rod Petrie as Chairman, and force big changes at the club.

The moves comes just days after the Hibees were relegated to the Scottish Championship, after capitulating against Hamilton Accies in the second leg of the Premiership Play-Off.

Supporters as well as former players and financial backers met at the Supporters' Association headquarters at Sunnyside on Monday to discuss future plans.

Hibs Supporters' Association Chairman Mike Reilly said:

“It was a very fruitful meeting involving a range of good Hibs fans, including business supporters and former players.

“A lot of people pledged support for our plans which we’re still finalising.

“The feeling is very strong we take steps to deprive this board of income from season ticket and commercial sources to force them out.

“Rangers fans are taking the fight for their club to their board under a united banner. We’ll do the same.

“It’s time for Petrie and Butcher to go.”

An announcement is due later in the week about the plan going forward.
