Hibs boss Alan Stubbs has confirmed that young midfielder Scott Martin will stay out on loan with Forfar.
The 18-year-old joined the League One side on a short term loan in October, and has earned some rave reviews.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs has revealed that the loan will now be extended until the end of the season.
Stubbs said:
“Given what we have at our disposal it will be the right thing for him. I didn’t want him going from first-team football back to playing development football. He’ll get greater benefit from playing on a Saturday in the professional game.
“It adds to that learning curve, different styles of management, different ideas, different ways of playing.
“Gary has been very active in trying to get Scott to commit to the rest of the season. He’s been on the phone very keen to pursue that and we’ve agreed to do so.”
