Hibs to move for Malmo FF striker Jonathan Johansson????

Last updated : 24 June 2008 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have today been linked with a move for former Rangers forward Jonathan Johansson once again.

Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen failed with a £150,000 bid for his former international team mate during the January transfer window and it seems he could be set to make his move again.

The 32-year-old Malmo FF forward would bring a wealth of experience to a young Hibs side, having played in the English Premiership for a number of years, as well as in the Uefa Champions League with Rangers and at international level.

Johansson has 88 caps for Finland and scored 14 goals in the process.

The former Rangers and Charlton Athletic could be set to become Mixu's second summer transfer signing, following the arrival of David Van Zanten from St Mirren.
