According to reports in tonight's press, Hibs are close to sealing a deal with midfielder Marvin Bartley.
The 29-year-old left Leyton Orient at the end of last season, and is available on a free.
Bartley was shown round the Hibees East Mains training facility yesterday, and talks over a deal are at an advanced stage.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs is hopeful of finalising the deal in the next 24 hours.
6ft 3in Bartley will fill the combatitive midfielder role that Stubbs has been looking to add to the squad, following the departure of Liam Craig and Scott Robertson.
The former Burnley and Bournemouth man has played nearly 300 games in his career, and has played as high as the English Championship.
