Hibs U20 4-1 Rangers U20

Hibs U20 side played their first game under the watch of new U20 head development coach Joe McBride last night, and put in a fine display.

The young Hibees hammered their Rangers counterparts at Ainslie Park, through a Sam Stanton Hat-trick and an Alex Harris goal.

Rangers actually took the lead in the 68th minute through Ryan Hardie, before Stanton equalised with a goal from fully 50 yards, that hit the post on the way in.

Stanton added his second, followed by an Alex Harris strike.

Midfielder Stanton then completed his hat-trick. when he burst through THE Rangers defence, before rounding the keeper and slotting home..

The Hibs team was:

Perntreou, Dunsmore (Sinclair, 84) Crane, Martyniuk, McGregor, Handling, Harris, Martin, L. Allan, Jake Sinclair, Stanton. Unused Substitutes: Brennan, McCaffrey, Duthie, Jordan Sinclair, Todd.
