According to reports coming from the United States, Hibees winger Chris Mueller is set to leave Easter Road.
Apparently the 25-year-old is set to join Chicago Fire on a free transfer, despite still having 3 years left on a very lucrative deal in Edinburgh.
Mueller arrived in January to much fan-fare, only to find the boss that signed him, Jack Ross fired, then his replacement Shaun Maloney also gone within 3 months of arriving.
The Athletic’s Paul Tenorio.is reporting that the former Orlando City man could even make his Chicago debut this weekend!!!

Mueller has hardly been given a run in the team, only making 15 appearances in the green and white.
If rumours are to be believed Mueller is on £10,000 a week at Easter Road, with our wealthy owner picking up half his wage (Believe that if you will!)
To be allowing him to leave, for FREE, when he is still under contract for another 3 years is baffling to say the least, especially when you consider how hard-ball Orlando City played it in allowing him to come to Scotland.
If it IS true, Mueller joins the long list of big money players who have come to Scotland expecting a poor "farmers" league, and been caught out by the quality.
