Hibs winger Steven Bradley joins Livingston

Last updated : 14 December 2022 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have today announced that winger Steven Bradley has joined Livingston on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old has just returned from a successful loan spell with Irish side Dundalk, scoring 6 goals and adding 7 assists in the Irish League.

Bradley will not officially join Livi until January 1st when the transfer window opens, but Hibs have agreed to let him train with his new club until then.

Hibs boss Lee Johnson is on a mission to trim his squad this window and he has his first victim.

He has signed a 3-and-a-half-year-deal with the West Lothian club and has already impressed, scoring against FK Liepāja and Fortuna Sittard during Livi's training camp in Turkey.

Bradley only made 5 appearances for Hibs since being plucked from Queen's Park in summer 2019.

He had spells on loan with Ayr United and Dundalk whilst at Easter Road.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

A strange one for us, the kid has shown potential in two loan spells and took it up a level in Ireland.

It's even more baffling considering the loss of Martin Boyle, the misfiring of other wingers like Elie Youan, the constant ingnorance of Dan Mackay (now on loan) and Jair Tavares and the wait for Aiden McGeady to turn up.

Good luck Steven, I think Hibs may live to regret this one.
