The votes are in and have been counted, we are pleased to announce that the Hibernian-Mad Young Player of the Year 2012/13 is Alex Harris.

18-year-old winger Harris burst on to the scene at Easter Road in the later stages of last season, culminating in the youngster making 12 appearances for the first team, two of those at the national stadium Hampden.

Harris was outstanding as the Hibees romped back from 3-0 down to Falkirk in the Scottish Cup Semi Final, to win 4-3 in extra time, scoring the Hibees first and setting up the second..

He also played in the Final, a 3-0 defeat to Celtic.

Alex wins with over 85% of the vote, with Jordan Forster, Danny Handling and Ross Caldwell all tied for second.

Alex joins our previous winners:
