Hibs have tonight been linked with a move for Cheltenham winger Jordan Thomas.
According to website Football Insider, the Hibees have joined English Championship side Millwall, amongst others, in the race for the 23-year-old's signature.
Hibs apparently sent a spy to watch Thomas during Cheltenham's recent loss to MK Dons, as the Hibees work towards what is going to be a massive summer for the club, with 14 out-of-contract players and possible European football in the pipeline.
Thomas has impressed in what is his first season in professional football, since joining the League Two side from Bath City last summer, in a bargain £5,000 deal.
He has played 40 times, scored 6 goals and added 5 assists so far this season.
The Hibees would have to pay a decent fee to land Thomas, as he still has a year left on his deal with the Robins.
Hibs boss David Gray may need to enter the market for a winger, with Martin Boyle's contract situation still up in the air, and Elie Youan expected to leave Easter Road this summer.
Thomas has manged nearly 200 games in his career so far, most of them in non-league, having played for Didcot Town, North Leigh and Bath City.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
Another player we don't know much about, but it's clear Hibs are already busy building for next season, with the amount of players already linked with Easter Road this summer.
It could be a monumental summer for the club, who are facing a decent re-build, and also the possibility of European Football next season.
David Gray has put together a good squad, but with quite a number of players out-of-contract, and others expected to go, he has a daunting job on his hands.
Hopefully the summer can be as successful as last year, when the likes of Jordan Smith, Marvin Ekpiteta, Nicky Cadden, Warren O'Hora and Kieron Bowie joined, and have proven to be excellent signings.
