Hibs have been handed a timely boost ahead of Sunday's SPL clash with Rangers, with the news of the return of a trio of injured players.

Filipe Morais, Steven Thicot and Fabian Yantorno all played against Motherwell reserves at Almondvale yesterday.

The Hibees second string fought out a 1-1 draw with their Lanarkshire counterparts and all three injured players could come in to contention on Sunday.

Thicot picked up a groin strain in the first SPL game of the season at Kilmarnock, new boy Fabian Yantorno has been wrapped in cotton wool after being out for a year with knee ligament damage and Morais has also been struggling with a groin injury.
