James Scott Leaves Hibs

Hibs have today confirmed that James Scott has left the club, after his loan deal from Hull City ended.

It looks like new Hibs boss Lee Johnson will not be attempting to extend his stay in Edinburgh.

Scott, 21, joined the Hibees last summer on a season long loan deal, but struggled in the capital.

The ex Motherwell attacker failed to score a goal for the club until the last few games, in the bottom six, when results almost didn't matter.

He scored his first goal in a 3-1 horror show defeat to relegated Dundee in the second last game of the season, before a fine display in his final game at Easter Road, scoring a hat-trick as he Hibees routed St Johnstone 4-0 on the final day of the season.

Scott managed 16 appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals.

HIBS-MAD VIEW:

Not a surprise this one either.

James struggled to keep his spot in the first team all season, putting in some dissapointing display's.

However, to his credit, his form did improve towards the end of the season, and he ended his spell with Hibs on a high.

Hibs-Mad wish him well in the future.
