Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has become the latest name linked with the vacant managers post at Hibs.

Hasselbaink has just quit as boss of Belgian side Royal Antwerp after leading them to a 7th place finish last season, on one of the lowest budgets in that league.

The former Holland international is said to have applied for the Easter Road hot-seat, as he looks for a way back in to British football.

Hibs are also said to be impressed with his CV, and apparently he has made it on to Leeann Dempsters shortlist.

The Hibees have been interviewing candidates over the weekend to find Terry Butcher's replacement, and are hopeful of making an appointment during the week.

The likes of Ian Murray, Tony Mowbray, Mark Venus, Danny Lennon and Alex McLeish have already been linked with the post.
